Here’s a simple guide to adding a new tracking domain and replacing the nameservers using NameCheap as your DNS registrar.

  1. Add a new tracking domain in UCLIQ
Start by adding a new domain in the UCLIQ platform****

  2. Get the new nameserver list
Once you’ve added the domain, UCLIQ will provide you with a list of new nameservers.

  3. Log in to NameCheap
Go to your NameCheap account and log in. Then, select the domain you want to modify.

  4. Replace nameservers

    Click on Custom Nameservers.

Replace the current nameservers with the ones provided by UCLIQ.

  5. Save the changes
After updating the nameservers, save the changes in your NameCheap account.

  6. Wait for DNSpPropagation
It may take some time (up to 24 hours) for the changes to propagate. During this time, the domain status will show as Inactive.

  7. Wait for SSL certificate
Once DNS propagation is complete, the UCLIQ platform will automatically issue an SSL certificate for your domain.

  8. Configure domain allocations

Go to the Allocations tab > Actions > Edit

Assign the domain to Offers, Smartlinks, or Shortlinks, as needed.

  9. Check domain health
Ensure there are no warning flags that indicate issues. Sometimes, there might be irrelevant flags that don’t impact the domain's use.

  10. Launch a campaign
Once everything is set up, launch an offer or a smartlink using the newly added domain and verify that it works as expected.
