Besides choosing a category in your smartlink—which automatically selects all offers with that category as main or additional (provided the offer is active and smart routing is on)—you can further customize offer selection for specific publishers using smart routing tags.
To use this feature, you need to set three types of tags:

Publisher tag: The publisher must have a matching tag for this selection group.

Advertiser account tag: The advertiser’s account should include a tag that corresponds to this group of publishers.

Offer smart routing tag: Every offer in a smartlink (that fits the chosen category, is active, and has smart routing enabled) needs one or more tags. These tags determine which groups of publishers the offer is available to.
The system works like this: If no advertiser account tag is specified, then every offer from that advertiser can be selected by any publisher. If a tag is set, only publishers with at least one matching advertiser tag can select the offer.
Additionally, when offer smart routing tags are applied, the system further refines the selection by ensuring that at least one of the offer’s smart routing tags matches a tag on the publisher’s side.
